About CU Alliance
CU Alliance CLG (CUSA) is a not-for-profit collaboration of regulated Irish credit unions working together to strengthen their individual and collective impact.
CUSA was formed by credit unions who saw that collaboration could unlock real benefits from reducing duplication to developing stronger services for members. This alliance is built on the belief that credit unions can achieve more by working together, while each one retains its independence and local identity.
Through CUSA, member credit unions:
- Share resources, learnings, ideas, and ambitions
- Collaborate on operational and strategic challenges
- Co-design better services and solutions for members
- Access shared tools, training, and procurement opportunities
- Strengthen financial sustainability and resilience
- Engage as a collective voice in sector and stakeholder discussions
- Communicate regularly, openly and benefit from working groups online for instant access to peers and knowledge experts across the membership

CUSA exists to help credit unions work together in a way that strengthens each one — for their members, their staff, and their communities.
Credit unions face many of the same challenges and goals. CUSA provides a structured way to share ideas, solve problems together, and improve how services are delivered. It’s credit unions supporting credit unions — through real collaboration that’s built on trust, not competition.
